2024年12月28日，刚果（金）姆布吉马伊至姆班加280公里城市道路更新项目开工仪式隆重举行。刚果（金）总统齐塞克迪（Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo）亲临现场，并试驾了柳工平地机，充分展示了柳工设备在该国得到的广泛高度认可和在基础设施建设中发挥的重要作用，也标志着这一具有里程碑意义项目的正式启动。

On December 28, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 280-kilometer urban road renewal project from Mbujimayi to Mbandaka in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was held with great ceremony. President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo of the DRC was present at the event, personally operating a LiuGong grader. It also showed the pivotal role of LiuGong equipment in this key infrastructure development project, marking the official launch of this landmark project.

姆布吉马伊至姆班加280公里沥青路项目是刚果（金）东部走廊项目第一期，是连通东开赛省与洛马米省的交通要道，也是刚果(金)东部和首都金沙萨间的“连接线”。项目落成后，区域之间货物运输将更为便捷高效，物流成本将大幅减少，洛马米省及周边区域商业活力将被全面激发，为当地社区可持续发展注入澎湃动力，助力刚果（金）向着繁荣快步迈进。

In his speech, President Tshisekedi stated that the 280-kilometer asphalt road project from Mbujimayi to Mbandaka is the first phase of the Eastern Corridor Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a critical transportation route connecting the Eastern Kasai Province with Lomami Province and serves as the "lifeline" between the eastern region and the capital, Kinshasa. Once completed, the project will significantly improve the efficiency of goods transportation between regions, drastically reduce logistics costs, and revitalize the commercial vitality of Lomami Province and surrounding areas. It will inject a surge of energy into the sustainable development of local communities, propelling the DRC toward prosperity.
